Alpine Rafting Guides

The Alpine Team are hand-picked for their professional, maturity and experience. Due to the nature of the Kicking Horse and our high standards, we only place you in the care of the best. Did we mention our Team Rocks? That's right, we're not afraid to say it! Our guides are fun, informative and keen to share their love of the river with you! Not to mention, they'll give you a great ride.

The average age of our guides is 32 years of age, with an average of 8 years guiding experience--ensuring life experience and river expertise. Our Guides are serious about the work they do, and receive annual in-house training from the River Manager and Owner. They are all certified Swiftwater Rescue Technicians and hold Wilderness First Aid Certificates.

Check out the Guide Team below, and even request a Guide with the office if you like!

That's a tough one, for an expedition, the Colorado River in Grand Canyon, and for warm water fun probably the Gauley river in West Virginia.  That said one of the best single day trips anywhere is the Kicking Horse. Oh ya. . . the jet boat shuttle UP the Snake River is NOT to be missed.

My fave run/rapid, besides the Kicking Horse is a rapid on the Canyon Section on the Rouge River called Washing Machine. I love this rapid because there is lots of opportunity for play; both in high and low water

Hello!

I went rafting with Alpine Rafting yesterday (May 31) with a group of friends.  My guide was Bruce and I had a fantastic time!  Bruce was such a delight as a guide. Very knowledgeable and really fun!  He communicated really well with our group and to each of us individually. It was also very nice to get compliments and encouragement along the trip fro our guide, therefore giving us more confidence and allowing group members to relax a bit :-)  All in all, our experience with Alpine Rafting was fantastic and thanks to our awesome guide, we will be coming back for years to come.
