SUP Yoga is a combination of Stand Up Paddling and Yoga, the emphasis on core stability is a wonderful addition to the yoga workout and the paddling experience. The peacefulness of floating on the water combined with the meditative nature of yoga.

Come find deep relaxation in the serene beauty of the mountains of British Columbia. Reconnect with nature as you focus on flexibility, strength, and balance. Feel the sun on your face, the gentle water beneath you, and enjoy having nothing else to do and nowhere else to be for two hours of you time. The first and only Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga offered in Golden, is designed to cater to your needs. This class is perfect whether you are a complete beginner with no previous experience in yoga or SUP, or whether you are looking for a challenge to invigorate your regular practice. Our Yoga Alliance* and Yoga Alliance International* certified instructor is also available for private and semi-private tours. 

This class begins with a brief introduction to Stand Up Paddling, where beginners learn the basics and experienced paddlers can take some time to explore beautiful Cedar Lake. The 90-minute yoga class is inspired by Tantra Yoga and incorporates deeply relaxing Shavasanas (corpse pose) between postures. These pauses allow the body to truly relax and enjoy the movements. The Tantra series includes a meditation-oriented seated practice, which is relaxing for yoga levels from beginner to advanced, as well as the option to try many balancing postures which are naturally more challenging on a Stand Up Paddle Board.
